3dsMax用のチュートリアルなんですが、なかなか詳しく書いてあってかなり参考になります。
しかもこのガイドの作者のNWN2フォーラムでの発言に
Well, when things get on the open-source side of the world they usually start to interest me even more... I kind of feel like I might have a deeper look into MDB format and Blender scripting very soon
とあって、Blenderについても調べてもらえそう。
